Grief doesn’t have to be solitary: using Facebook friends to overcome loss
It’s not often I come across material that is genuine and emotional but also relevant for this blog. Below is a link from a clinical psychologist, describing how she used Facebook to help her get over the death of her father. Whereas previously, she didn’t think much of it professionally (although admitting it was a ‘guilty pleasure’ in her spare time), she found that in the aftermath of her loss it gave her the ‘perfect balance of connection and space’, allowing her to grieve easily. A very interesting read.
